This pair of earrings is handcrafted in 18 carat (750/-.) yellow gold and holds two opalescent fire opals weighing 1.2ct to 1.5ct each. in an unusual fantasy cut. The fire opals show a beautiful bright orange color, are perfectly transparent, have no inclusions and show a natural opalescence (surface shimmer) with exciting colors.
Furthermore, two natural yellow beads in a beautiful oval shape were used, which show unusual growth structures, the beads have a diameter of 11mm.
A perfect bezel setting was made by hand for the fire opals, which surrounds the stones flush with gold. This type of barrel means that, on the one hand, the stones are securely protected from all sides and, on the other hand, it reveals a beautiful color combination with the yellow gold.
The beads are movably connected to the upper part of the earrings and show a subtle movement when worn, which gives the earrings another aesthetic aspect.
The earrings are classic studs and have very large pushers/plates, which attach the earring comfortably and firmly to the ear.
The earrings have a length of 26.8mm and a width of 13.7mm, the total weight is 12.39 grams.
