This piece of jewelery is a pendant with a chain in 18 carat (750/-.) yellow gold from the design and jewelery house Fipa. In addition, 8 brilliant-cut diamonds with a diameter (D.) and weight (G.) of 1.8 mm and 0.025 ct. each, 2 brilliant-cut diamonds with a D. and G. of 1.7 mm and 0.02 ct. each, 17 brilliant-cut diamonds with a D. and G. of 1.3mm and 0.01ct each. and 31 brilliant-cut diamonds with a D. and G. of 1.2mm and 0.008ct each. used. The quality of the present brilliants (brilliant cut diamonds) is rated Top Wesselton (G/fine white) and VVS2 (very very small inclusions 2/very very small inclusions 2) and the total weight is 0.658 carat.
The pendant depicts a large moon lined with brilliant-cut diamonds that beautifully imitate a starry sky. In some cases, star shapes were set flush with diamonds and individual diamonds were additionally rubbed into the moon. The eyelet was set with diamonds and is very large, so the pendant can be worn with almost any chain.
The pendant is 47mm long, 29.56mm wide and 19mm thick. The back of the pendant has been artfully cut out to provide additional light for the diamonds and to create another optical element. In this way, the pendant can be worn once with and once without diamonds, depending on the occasion.
The chain is a fantasy plaited chain, which was massively and artfully crafted. It has a length of 50cm and is opened with a square carabiner.
The pendant with chain weighs 44.66 grams.
