This ring is a special piece of jewelry made of 14 carat (585/-.) yellow gold, which has been set with 203 brilliant-cut diamonds weighing 2.995 carat. The first row of brilliants around the gemstone is in the quality Top Wesselton (G/fine white) and Si1 (small inclusions 1) and consists of 22 brilliants with a diameter and weight of 1.3 mm and 0.01 carat each. The remaining 181 brilliants have a diameter of 1mm to 2.2mm and the quality ranges from VVS to Si, with the majority being in the VS range. The color varies and sometimes shows unusual fancy colors. Additionally, a very fine tanzanite weighing 2.1 carat with a unique violet-blue color was obtained. The purity and transparency is excellent and the color is vibrant due to the ideal cut.
The ring head was made bulbous and set very flush with over 200 brilliant-cut diamonds. This creates an incredibly dominant surface effect which radiates the lively fire of the diamonds in all directions. The tanzanite was placed very high quality centrally in the frame, which was supported with a fine row of white brilliants. The deep violet-blue color represents a very successful color combination with the yellow color of the gold and the tinted diamonds.
The underside of the ring has been beautifully crafted and offers a nice view of the numerous settings of the brilliant-cut diamonds. The ring band has been rounded off at the edges and is very comfortable to wear.
