This is a handmade cross pendant in 18 carat (750/-.) yellow gold, which is decorated with 5 topaz squares weighing 0.91 ct each. (a total of 4.55 carat). The topazes show an elegant aquamarine blue, as well as ideal purity and transparency.
The beautiful blue color of the topazes is a very successful combination with the light yellow gold color and is enhanced by the unusual channel setting. All gemstones were set flush (stone-to-stone) into the cross in a channel setting, which provides the stones with a lot of light. The channel setting has the optical effect as if the stones were floating between the gold bands.
The shape of the cross is very classic and was finished by hand to a high quality. The edges of the cross are beautifully rounded and very comfortable to wear on the skin. A large eyelet was used, which can be opened and can be worn with almost all types of chains.
This cross has a length of 31.9mm and a width of 18.2mm, it is an ideal size for everyday use. It has an elegant but unobtrusive effect. The total weight is 9.22 grams.
