The centerpiece is formed by two exquisite blue sapphires, each weighing 0.48 carats, in an oval faceted cut. The gemstones display a particularly beautiful, bright blue color, are ideally transparent, and possess a very appealing clarity. The sapphires are set in yellow gold, which makes their fresh blue tone appear particularly warm and harmonious in combination with the light gold.
The design is complemented by 4 brilliant-cut diamonds of 1.8 mm each, with 0.10 carats in Wesselton (H/white) and Si (small inclusions) quality, which were deliberately set in white gold. This allows their bright brilliance to come into its own ideally and adds a delicate, sparkling accent to the richly colored sapphires. The bicolor design is very successful here: the white gold supports the fire of the brilliant-cut diamonds, while the yellow gold softly and elegantly highlights the color effect of the sapphires.
With a size of 7.8 × 6.7 mm, the earrings are pleasantly subtle yet effective on the ear. The weight of 3.1 grams ensures a very comfortable wearing experience, so they can be worn all day long without any problems. The butterfly clasps in 14 karat (585) yellow gold offer a secure and uncomplicated fit.
