Elegant Drop Earrings in 18 Karat White Gold with Old-Cut Diamonds & Amethysts

These extraordinary drop earrings in 18 karat (750) white gold combine the beauty of historic old-cut diamonds with the powerful color impact of noble amethysts. A design that captivates with elegance, movement, and masterful craftsmanship from the 1950s/1960s.

At the center of each earring is an impressive diamond with a 4.4 mm diameter – one in a striking Fancy Yellow color and Si1 (small inclusions 1), the other in classic Wesselton (H/White) and Pique1 (P1/Inclusions). Both stones set distinctive accents and give the earrings an individual touch. The weight of these two diamonds is 0.36 carats each.

This composition is complemented by a total of 16 additional diamonds, each 2 mm in size, individually bezel-set and flexibly connected. With a weight of 0.56 carats, ranging in quality from Top Wesselton to Top Cape (G-K/Fine White to Tinted White) and in VS–Si (very small to small inclusions), a lively sparkle unfolds with every movement, emphasizing the historical charm of the old cuts. The total weight of all diamonds is 1.28 carats.

The finishing touch is provided by two large amethyst drops with a total weight of 36.82 carats (18.41 ct each). Held in fine claw settings, they display an intense color and ideal clarity. Their multifaceted brilliance harmonizes perfectly with the coolness of the white gold and the fire of the diamonds – a strong contrast that makes these earrings an incomparable eye-catcher.

Weighing 17.08 grams, the earrings have a robust substance, yet an elegant swing that ideally showcases their gemstones.
