An expressive vintage ring made of 14 carat (585) yellow gold, which immediately catches the eye due to its size, intense color effect and the fully set ring head. With its impressive dimensions of 25.5 × 18.3 mm, the ring head has a dominant presence on the finger, yet it still appears elegant and high-quality due to its harmonious design.
The centerpiece is a large, luminous blue turquoise of 14.97 carats, cut in an oval cabochon cut. Due to its convex shape, the gemstone can unfold its intense color particularly beautifully. The blue is exceptionally homogeneous and clear, which makes the turquoise appear very high-quality and the clear centerpiece of this piece of jewelry. Especially in combination with the radiant yellow gold, a particularly successful, warm and at the same time fresh color harmony is created.
The turquoise is framed by a fine, flush-set row of brilliant-cut diamonds. A total of 26 brilliant-cut diamonds, each 1.8 mm, were used, totaling 0.65 carats in fine Top-Wesselton (G/Fine White) and Si (small inclusions) quality. The brilliant-cut diamonds are claw-set stone by stone and show a lively fire that effectively makes the ring head sparkle. They create an elegant halo of light around the turquoise and support its intense color in a particularly noble way.
The ring shank is robust and reinforced, with a very successful transition to the large ring head. This means the ring sits comfortably on the hand and, despite its opulent size, conveys a secure, high-quality wearing experience.
