This ring is made of 18 carat (750) rose gold and sets a variety of garnet, the rhodolite . The rhodolite is a variety from the garnet family and stands out with its intense and noble purple-red color. The present rhodolite weighs 13.9 carats and is very pure. The shape is a pyramid-shaped cabochon cut. In addition, brilliant-cut diamonds weighing 0.19 ct . used in the quality Wesselton (H/white) and VS (very small inclusions) .
The style is very modern and elegant. The rhodolite is set centrally in a frame setting and particularly stands out due to its pyramid shape. The bulbous cabochon cut allows the beautiful color of this gemstone to unfold perfectly, and the color contrast with the warm rose gold is a very harmonious element. Another advantage is the closed bottom of the frame setting, which reflects the incoming light through the rhodolite. In addition, the frame setting offers a high level of security as the rhodolite is coated with gold on all sides.
The diamonds have been rubbed into the ring band and are therefore protected from all sides. The arrangement of the diamonds is slightly offset; this is also called a starry sky arrangement.
