Art Deco Ring in 14 Karat Yellow & White Gold with Emerald & Diamonds

An extraordinary piece of jewelry from the glamorous Art Deco era (approx. 1920–1940) – and a prime example of historic goldsmithery. This handcrafted vintage ring, made of 14-karat yellow and white gold, captivates with its strong, period-typical design, loving detail work, and a gemstone composition that combines elegance and history.

The ring-shaped head, measuring 20.9 × 11.4 mm, draws all eyes. At its center sits a very fine, light green emerald in an emerald cut, weighing 0.54 carats and of exceptional quality. Its clear transparency, vibrant color brilliance, and natural, non-disruptive inclusions give it depth and authenticity – a gemstone that perfectly embodies the typical Art Deco aesthetic.

The emerald is flanked by two impressive old-cut diamonds – both in warm Wesselton (H/white) and Si1 (small inclusions 1), weighing 0.33 ct and 0.36 ct respectively. The historic cut, slightly oval and charmingly irregular, creates a particularly soft, nostalgically sparkling play of light. Together with the emerald, they form a balanced, harmonious trio that gives the ring an aristocratic presence.

All three main stones are bezel-set and framed by delicate millgrain ornamentation – a typically artistic feature of the Art Deco period. In addition, six eight-cut diamonds, each 1.5 mm, totaling 0.09 carats, in Wesselton (H/white) and VS (very small inclusions), are integrated into the filigree structure, adding sparkling accents that masterfully complete the design.

The ring band is elegantly designed and comfortable to wear, directing full focus to the ring head. The bicolor design – cool white gold for brilliance and warm yellow gold for depth – emphasizes the sophisticated design and historical character.
